People think that in order to find the racism, you have to find the racists. But we know where the racists are.

Systemic racism is woven in the threads of culture and institutions. It seeps out in the wording of laws, in the code of the algorithms that approve mortgages, in the pricing of gas and the placement of grocery stores from neighborhood to neighborhood.
It's invisible and it's insidious. It hides in the shadows and in plain sight, and it cannot, it will not change, until it is seen.
But you can see it. And others can too, once they are shown. Only then can we finally start to tear it down together.
